Invited by the Chinese Tourist Office in Paris, Fouquet's Paris and Groupe Barrière, the Mugua association offered a Hanfu parade on the Champs-Élysées to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Wood Snake for the Lunar Calendar.
According to Chinese astrology, the transition to the New Year under the sign of the Wood Snake will bring strength and good fortune, symbolised by lions and dragons.
This parade allowed the charm of this traditional festival to be discovered by French and international audiences.
